Bear Wood Joinery was established by Nick Payne in 2000. The company is now based just outside Shoreham, covering the Brighton, Hove and Worthing area, or further afield if required.
Nick has a fully appointed workshop to produce high quality bespoke joinery items including; furniture, storage systems, windows, doors, stairs, bathroom fittings and kitchens. Bear Wood also offers a full design, build and fitting service to make the most of your space at work or at home. Nick can provide design solutions to problem areas, always giving his customers a professional finish in a style to fit their needs.
With 15 years experience in all aspects of carpentry and joinery Nick is happy to work on jobs of all sizes from re-fitting that awkward door that always sticks, to creating a whole new design for the space you live or work in.

About Nick
Nick Payne studied photography at Nottingham Trent University, following this his naturally creative side and ability to make things lead him into his career in carpentry. Nick now has NVQ level 2 & 3 in both carpentry and joinery. He gain valuable experience working with 2 different companies specialising in building and renovation work and then became self employed in 2000.
Personal statement; I am well mannered and always clean up after myself - doing the hoovering after I finish is a must. I don't require gallons of tea and biscuits in order to function! I normally only take one job at a time, so if I start, I won't leave until the job is finished.
